Project Role Description : Leads a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Applies business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.

Summary:
As a Quality Engineering Lead, a typical day involves guiding a team of quality engineers by coordinating multi-disciplinary planning and integrating various ecosystem components to enhance delivery speed and ensure high-quality standards throughout the application lifecycle. This role requires overseeing the development and implementation of comprehensive testing strategies that align with business and functional requirements. The day also includes monitoring key performance indicators related to testing activities, managing test execution, and facilitating defect resolution to maintain the overall quality of software products. Collaboration across teams and continuous process improvement are integral parts of the daily routine.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and implementation of quality assurance strategies to ensure robust testing coverage.
- Facilitate communication and coordination between cross-functional teams to align quality objectives with project goals.
- Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and enhance team capabilities.
- Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- Strong knowledge of quality engineering principles and software testing methodologies.
- Experience in designing and executing end-to-end testing strategies within complex application environments.
- Ability to analyze and interpret testing metrics to drive process improvements.
- Skilled in defect management and resolution techniques to maintain software quality.
- Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with multiple teams and stakeholders.
