Position Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and strategic Sales Lead with over a year of experience in the sales field to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee and enhance the overall sales efforts, driving revenue growth and improving team performance. This role will require a proactive approach to developing and implementing effective sales strategies, managing key accounts, and leading the sales team to achieve targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy and Execution
- Develop, execute, and optimize sales strategies to meet and exceed company goals.
- Identify new market opportunities and channels for growth, ensuring the company remains competitive.
- Conduct market research and analysis to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
- Sales Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and coach the sales team to enhance productivity and performance.
- Set and monitor team and individual sales goals, providing feedback and guidance as necessary.
- Coordinate regular training sessions to keep the team informed on best practices, product knowledge, and sales techniques.
- Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Act as a point of contact for high-value clients, handling escalations and addressing client needs proactively.
- Regularly assess client feedback and implement improvements in the customer experience.
- Sales Operations and Reporting
- Track and analyze sales metrics to identify trends, issues, and areas for improvement.
- Prepare regular sales reports for management, summarizing achievements, challenges, and future plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, and finance) to ensure alignment on goals and strategy.
- Continuous Improvement
- Identify process gaps and areas for improvement in the sales cycle, implementing solutions to enhance efficiency.
- Stay current on industry best practices and new sales tools/technologies to keep the team competitive and effective.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
- Experience in a sales role, with proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
