- Hands-on experience in implementing, enhancing, and supporting SAP S/4HANA RAR
- Finance background and working knowledge of revenue recognition in compliance with IFRS 15 / ASC 606 standards
- Responsible for managing the integration of SAP RAR with upstream systems such as SD and FI to ensure accurate and compliant revenue postings
- The role involves leading at least two end-to-end implementations and configurations of SAP RAR scenarios, covering contract identification, performance obligations, transaction price allocation, Standalone Selling Price (SSP) determination, and revenue recognition rules
- Should also possess experience in S/4 RAR defect fixes, including working knowledge of CCM (Classic Contract Management) and related troubleshooting scenarios
- Map and articulate end-to-end business process flows, identifying gaps and proposing solutions using SAP or integrated tools
- Prepare detailed Functional Design Specifications (FDS) by capturing business requirements, defining process flows, documenting data mappings, and outlining configuration and development dependencies to ensure clear alignment between business and technical teams
- Experience in performing System Integration Testing (SIT), documenting test scenarios, executing test cases, and ensuring defect resolution in coordination with business and technical teams
- Experience in monitoring RAR processing errors, analysing issues related to revenue contracts, allocations, and postings to ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for system design, configuration, testing, cutover, and production deployment activities
- Provide expert-level support and configuration in core Finance processes within SAP S/4HANA, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Financial Closing, Costing, and Document Splitting
- Hands on experience in integration of SAP FICO with other SAP modules such as SD (Sales & Distribution) and MM (Materials Management)
- Demonstrate proven expertise in compliance management within SAP FICO, including audit controls, regulatory reporting, and statutory requirements
- Apply in-depth knowledge of financial processes and controls to optimize business operations and ensure regulatory compliance
- Identify, analyse, and resolve complex problems with attention to detail and a focus on delivering effective solutions
- Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to business users
- Effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels, including management, to present solutions, conduct walkthroughs, answer queries, and obtain necessary approvals
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information, collate and prepare presentations, update status, etc
- Experience in working with Non SAP integration with SAP S4 FICO
