Role Summary
Vedanta Special School, Vithalwadi is looking for an experienced, compassionate, and responsible Principal / Academic Advisor to lead the overall academic and administrative functioning of the school. The candidate should have strong experience in special education, school management, staff supervision, parent coordination, and student development.
The role requires a senior education professional who can ensure a safe, inclusive, disciplined, and supportive learning environment for children with special needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the overall academic, administrative, and daily operations of the school.
- Ensure quality special education, student care, discipline, and parent satisfaction.
- Guide teachers, special educators, therapists, caregivers, and support staff.
- Monitor student progress in academics, behaviour, life skills, communication, and social development.
- Support preparation and implementation of student-centric learning plans / IEPs wherever required.
- Maintain proper student records, staff records, attendance, progress reports, and compliance documents.
- Strengthen parent communication through meetings, counselling, and regular progress updates.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Postgraduate degree from a reputed institution.
- B.Ed. / M.Ed. preferred.
- Degree / Diploma in Special Education, Psychology, Child Development, Counselling, Social Work, or related field preferred.
- RCI registration preferred wherever applicable.
- Minimum 10–15 years of experience in school education, special education, or institutional leadership.
- Prior experience as Principal, Vice Principal, Academic Head, Special Education Coordinator, Senior Special Educator, or Academic Advisor preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, staff management, parent coordination, and decision-making skills.
- Good knowledge of documentation, reporting, compliance, and basic computer operations.
- Proficiency in English, Hindi, and Marathi preferred.

Pay: Up to ₹1,200,000.00 per year
