Job Description:
We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Manual Tester to join our QA team. As a Manual Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our web and mobile applications before they go live.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Understand project requirements and create test cases accordingly
- Execute manual test cases for websites, applications, and APIs
- Identify, log, and track bugs and issues
- Work closely with developers and project managers to ensure timely bug fixes
- Perform regression and sanity testing before releases
- Report test results and suggest process improvements
Skills Required:
- Strong understanding of software development and testing life cycles
- Knowledge of bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, Mantis)
- Basic understanding of SQL and API testing is a plus
- Good analytical and communication skills
- Attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 0 to 2 years of experience in manual testing (Freshers are welcome to apply)
- Certification in testing (ISTQB or equivalent) will be an added advantage
