About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our growing data engineering team and help build scalable, cloud-native data solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing modern data platforms that power business intelligence, analytics, and data-driven decision-making.
You will play a key role in architecting robust ETL pipelines, driving Snowflake migration initiatives, and leveraging AWS services to build highly scalable and secure data ecosystems. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL and data pipelines using Python and modern data engineering frameworks.
- Build and optimize data processing workflows for high-volume clickstream, demographic, and business datasets.
- Implement best practices for data pipeline development, code quality, testing, and performance optimization.
- Configure, deploy, and manage AWS infrastructure including S3, Lambda, EC2, RDS, EMR, and related services.
- Support data ingestion, storage, transformation, and retrieval workflows across cloud platforms.
- Lead large-scale data migration projects to Snowflake while ensuring data integrity, security, and minimal business disruption.
- Design and optimize Snowflake data warehouse architectures, schemas, and loading processes.
- Develop and maintain cloud-native data solutions that meet scalability, reliability, and performance requirements.
- Monitor data pipelines and infrastructure health through dashboards, alerts, and automated monitoring solutions.
- Conduct root cause analysis, troubleshoot production issues, and drive incident resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and business users to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote technical excellence, knowledge sharing, and engineering best practices.
- Document technical solutions, workflows, and operational procedures to support long-term maintainability.
Required Skills & QualificationsExperience
- 6+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, or related fields.
- Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience working on Snowflake-based projects.

- Strong expertise in Snowflake, including:
- Schema Design
- Snowpipe
- COPY INTO
- Data Loading & Transformation
- Query Performance Tuning
- Security & Access Control
- Hands-on experience with:
- Python
- SQL
- DBT (Data Build Tool)
- ETL/ELT Development
- Data Modeling
- Strong AWS experience with services such as:
- S3
- Lambda
- EC2
- RDS
- EMR
- QuickSight
- Experience working with SQL databases and query optimization techniques.
- Knowledge of monitoring, alerting, and observability tools for production data environments.
- Experience designing and implementing scalable cloud-native data architectures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Luigi or similar workflow orchestration tools.
- Experience with large-scale cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
- Exposure to CI/CD practices and Infrastructure as Code.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Pay: ₹90,000.00 - ₹1,870,927.45 per month
