The web developer at Inboundsys will be responsible for bridging the gap between design and technical implementation, ensuring that websites are visually appealing, functional, and optimized for performance. The role involves translating UI/UX designs into code, working with various content management systems (CMS), and developing responsive and SEO-friendly web pages.
- Design and develop HTML5 and CSS3 websites, including layouts, themes, and templates.
- Work on frameworks to create responsive web designs and ensure cross-device compatibility.
- Translate UI/UX wireframes into functional web pages with a strong emphasis on user experience.
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
- Optimize web pages for maximum speed, scalability, and search engine performance.
- Test websites to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Work with various CMS platforms such as Wix, Shopify, Squarespace, and WordPress.
- Maintain website appearance and enforce content standards.
- Ensure that design and content meet legal standards, including accessibility, privacy, and freedom of information.
- Edit, debug, and update web pages as needed.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to deliver cohesive web solutions.
- Maintain and update existing websites to align with client and company standards.
- Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and jQuery.
- Experience with responsive web design and development.
- Knowledge of WordPress and Bootstrap is a plus.
- Creative UI design skills for responsive mobile and web applications.
- A good eye for aesthetics, including layouts, fonts, and color themes.
- Ability to convert PSD designs to HTML.
- Knowledge of website optimization techniques for speed and SEO.
- Familiarity with international web standards, protocols, and technologies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
