Responsibilities
Mallcom India is hiring for Senior Product Manager - Head Protection who will be repsonsible for providing end-to-end technical support to clients, including CAD design assistance, documentation, and technical guidance to ensure proper understanding of products. The candidate will be responsible for new product development and updating existing products as per market needs, along with managing installation, inspection, and revalidation of Lifeline Systems for Fall Protection. The position also includes preparing BOQs and commercial offers, conducting site surveys and material inspections, and coordinating the execution of projects from start to finish. Additionally, the candidate will work closely with the sales team to convert business leads into orders by delivering effective technical solutions.
- Develop and manage the Head Protection product category.
- Lead Research & Development (R&D) initiatives for new products.
- Conduct market study and analyse competitor landscape.
- Drive pricing strategy and go-to-market (GTM) planning.
- Develop and execute marketing and merchandising strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launch and lifecycle management
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 7 years+ in product category management with development in Head Protection vertical.
- Diploma or Graduate Engineering (CIPET) / Mechanical with Knowledge of CAD/CAM.
- Strong knowledge of plastics, composites, moulding techniques and material properties.
- Knowledge of CAD, CAM, Unigraphics, Customer handling, Product Certification, Customer Audits, etc.
