A Procurement Contract Manager oversees the procurement of goods and services while managing all contract-related activities to ensure compliance, cost efficiency, and strategic alignment with organizational goals.Key Responsibilities
Procurement Management:
- Oversee sourcing and purchasing of goods and services, including indirect and direct materials, to meet organizational needs and project timelines.
- Conduct vendor research, evaluate products, and forecast price trends to optimize procurement decisions.
- Develop and maintain procurement processes, including vendor self-service portals.
- Implement strategic initiatives to achieve cost savings, process improvements, and supplier innovation.
- Contract Management:
- Draft, evaluate, negotiate, and execute contracts covering a wide range of transactions.
- Maintain records of all contract correspondence and documentation, ensuring compliance with legal and organizational standards
- Monitor contract performance, manage renewals, extensions, and close-outs, and resolve any contract-related issues Indeed+1.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for suppliers and internal stakeholders regarding contract matters.
Administrative and Strategic Duties:
- Supervise and develop procurement and contract staff, creating work plans and providing guidance.
- Coordinate activities with other departments and external agencies to ensure smooth operations.
- Establish, review, and update procurement and contract policies and procedures
- Prepare invitations to bid, requests for proposals, and requests for qualifications, ensuring compliance with regulations
- Present recommendations for contract awards to senior management or boards Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract law, and regulatory compliance .
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and work collaboratively across departments.
- Leadership and team management experience, including staff supervision and development .
Pay: ₹65,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
