The Private Bank combines Deutsche Bank’s private client’s business in Germany and its international business with private and commercial clients together with Wealth Management in a single division.

Team Insights
The team “Culture and Conduct” is part of ‘Business Risk & Controls (BRC)’. The PB BRC guards the “Protect” agenda by overseeing operational risks, conduct & control topics and regulatory changes.
The Culture & Conduct team strengthens and coordinates the Private Bank’s Culture & Conduct agenda within BRC. It acts as a central interface for culture, conduct, TiDB, communication, training and reporting activities, ensuring structured steering, sustainable execution and consistent messaging across the Private Bank. In addition, the team supports the establishment and delivery of a clear BRC Risk Reporting framework, translating activities, progress and risk-related insights into management-ready narratives and reports.

Your key responsibilities
Coordinate and track key elements of the Private Bank Culture & Conduct agenda, including the PB Culture Plan, TiDB-related activities, ambassador engagement, workshops, townhalls and other culture communication formats.
Prepare, deliver and follow up on Culture & Conduct materials, management updates and governance contributions for ExCo, senior management, ambassadors and wider Private Bank audiences.
Support the planning, organisation and delivery of PB Culture Week and other engagement formats, including content development, stakeholder coordination, moderation support, communication and feedback consolidation.
Contribute to the further development and delivery of the BRC Risk Reporting framework, including quarterly reporting, management summaries, thematic updates, scenario analyses and topic-specific deep dives.
Collect, consolidate and translate culture, conduct and risk-related insights, indicators and team highlights into clear narratives that make progress, impact and areas for action visible.
Support Culture Reviews, People Survey follow-up, Culture Metrics and other relevant indicators by preparing qualitative input, analysing relevant data points and helping derive practical actions.
Develop and coordinate practical learning, training and communication formats on Conduct, Compliance, Leadership, TiDB and other Culture & Conduct topics, including case studies, lessons learned and new joiner formats.
Close cooperation with various BR&C stakeholders, across different geographical regions
Your skills and experience
Education & Experience
University degree
Relevant experience in Culture & Conduct, Risk Management, Compliance, Governance, Communications, HR-related topics, Learning & Development or consultancy within a regulated environment.
Good understanding of cultural transformation processes and the effective embedding of desired behaviours in a large organisation.
Relevant experience in the Wealth Management / Private Banking sector or experience in financial services or consultancy (with Private Banking experience preferred but not essential)
Experience in supporting small to medium-scale projects in a global environment, including coordination across functions, regions and senior stakeholders.
Knowledge of operational risk, controls, culture- and conduct-related topics and governance processes is an advantage.
Competencies
Strong conceptual, analytical and organisational skills, with the ability to translate data, feedback and risk indicators into clear messages, practical measures and management-ready materials.
Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Ability to manage multiple initiatives in parallel, work effectively under time pressure and deliver high-quality outputs with limited supervision.
Ability to design, coordinate and deliver workshops, townhalls, training sessions, communication formats or larger engagement initiatives.
Ability to work in crunch situations
Strong communication (written and verbal) and relationship skills
Ability to clearly articulate and present supported topics
Excellent command of English, both written and spoken; German language skills are an advantage.
