Job Summary
The Assistant HR Manager will support and drive end-to-end HR operations for the banking business, including manpower planning, recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance coordination, training, HR records, and policy compliance. The role requires strong understanding of HR processes in a regulated environment, with emphasis on workforce planning, documentation accuracy, and adherence to labor laws and internal banking policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for branch, operations, sales, and support roles, including manpower requisition, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer rollout, and onboarding.
- Partner with business and functional leaders on workforce planning, attrition tracking, succession pipeline, and timely closure of critical positions.
- Maintain employee files, contracts, confirmation records, transfer letters, promotion documentation, and other HR compliance records with high confidentiality and accuracy.
- Support performance management cycles, including goal-setting coordination, appraisal follow-ups, performance documentation, and employee development planning.
- Coordinate training and learning initiatives, identify skill gaps, and help arrange functional, behavioural, compliance, and banking-process training programs.
- Address employee grievances, support disciplinary processes, conduct preliminary fact-finding where required, and promote a healthy employee relations climate.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, internal HR policies, code of conduct requirements, and applicable regulatory or audit-related HR documentation standards.
- Support payroll inputs, attendance validation, leave management, final settlement coordination, and employee benefits administration in coordination with payroll team.
- Assist in implementation of engagement, retention, well-being, diversity, and culture building initiatives across branches or regional offices.
- Coordinate employee lifecycle processes such as confirmation, transfers, promotions, exits, and full-and-final settlement support.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; MBA/PGDM in HR, MSW, or equivalent HR qualification preferred.
- 4–5 years of relevant HR experience, with preference for candidates from banking, NBFC, insurance, fintech, or other compliance-driven sectors.
- Working knowledge of recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, HR operations, and statutory/labour compliance Strong communication, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution skills.
- Good knowledge of labour laws, disciplinary procedures, and HR documentation standards.
- Hands-on experience with HRIS, ATS, payroll inputs, and HR MIS reporting.
- Strong organizational skills, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, target-driven, and multi-location business environments.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and HR analytics/reporting tools.
Working Hours and Days Full Time
- Monday to Saturday
- 10:00 A.M. – 6:30 P.M
