Overview:
DRE – Interior core & quality (Cockpit)
Responsibilities:
- Ensure design robustness for all interior components throughout the development cycle.
- Conduct design reviews in collaboration with Global and Technical Centre teams.
- Manage packaging, manufacturing, and assembly feasibility studies for interior components.
- Review and approve Technical Data Sheets and DVP&R for interior components.
- Validate and approve DFMEA and DVP&R, ensuring alignment with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
- Oversee CAD data finalization prior to STEP releases and TKO, ensuring compliance with specifications.
- Collect and integrate proactive quality documents (QIU, QFS, Lessons Learned) to address quality aspects during the concept phase.
- Develop and maintain Design Scorecards for each program milestone.
- Capture and publish Lessons Learned, updating relevant design practices and interior standards.
- Create harmonized documentation (Design Practices, DFMEA, DVP&R) for interior components.

Analyze launch and field issues, performing root cause analysis using tools such as 3L, 5-Why, and Fishbone diagrams.
Qualifications:
- B.E./B. Tech or M.E/ M. Tech in Mechanical, Automobile, Production and Industrial Engineering
Essential skills:
- 3 to 8 years of Product Design & development experience in automotive Components: Cockpit, Seats

Working experience in Component & System level designing.

Good Knowledge in UG or CATIA modeling, Surfacing and Ennovia.

Good Knowledge in Manufacturing & Assembly feasibility study.

Work experience with International Tier 1 and OEMS.

Knowledge in Injection molding process.

Good presentation and communication skills.

Expertise in UG & Team center is mandatory.

Knowledge in MS-Office or Google G-Suite

Knowledge in CATIA and Enovia is an additional requirement
