Role Overview
The Channel Sales Manager will be responsible for expanding the company’s retail footprint by onboarding and managing grocery store franchises. This role focuses on identifying potential partners, closing franchise deals, and ensuring successful store launches and ongoing performance.
Key Responsibilities1. Franchise Acquisition & Onboarding
- Identify and approach potential grocery store owners, retailers, and entrepreneurs
- Pitch the franchise business model and value proposition
- Drive end-to-end onboarding: lead generation → negotiation → agreement closure
- Ensure smooth store setup and go-live process
2. Channel Sales Development
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of franchise partners
- Achieve monthly/quarterly onboarding targets
- Develop territory-wise expansion strategies
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities
3. Relationship Management
- Maintain strong relationships with franchise partners
- Act as the primary point of contact for partner support
- Resolve partner issues and ensure satisfaction
4. Training & Support
- Guide franchisees on operations, inventory, and branding standards
- Coordinate with internal teams (supply chain, marketing, operations)
- Ensure adherence to company policies and SOPs
5. Performance Monitoring
- Track sales performance of franchise stores
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve revenue
- Ensure consistent business growth across locations
Key RequirementsExperience
- 3–7 years in channel sales, franchise development, or retail expansion
- Experience in FMCG, grocery, or retail industry preferred

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred)
