Experience
2–4 years in delegate acquisition, B2B sales, inside sales, business development, event sales, tele-sales, or lead generation. Experience in the supply chain, logistics, procurement, or B2B events industry will be an advantage.
About the Role
We are looking for a results-driven Delegate Acquisition Professional responsible for identifying, engaging, and acquiring senior professionals and decision-makers to participate in supply chain and business-focused conferences, forums, roundtables, and industry events.
The individual will be responsible for building a strong delegate pipeline, reaching out to relevant professionals, communicating the value of attending the event, managing registrations, and achieving delegate acquisition targets.
The ideal candidate should be confident in speaking with CXOs, Directors, VPs, and senior decision-makers across the supply chain and related industries.
Key Responsibilities
1. Delegate Acquisition
- Identify and acquire relevant delegates for conferences, forums, roundtables, webinars, and industry events.
- Build a database of potential delegates from target companies and industries.
- Conduct outbound calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, and other forms of communication to invite delegates.
- Understand the professional profile and responsibilities of prospects to ensure they are relevant to the event.
- Communicate the event's agenda, speakers, networking opportunities, and business benefits effectively.
- Convert qualified prospects into confirmed delegates/registrations.
2. Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Research target companies and identify key decision-makers within:
- Supply Chain
- Procurement
- Logistics
- Warehousing
- Manufacturing
- Planning
- Operations
- Distribution
- Transportation
- E-commerce
- Supply Chain Technology
- Use LinkedIn, company websites, industry databases, CRM systems, and other research tools to identify prospects.
- Develop and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified delegates.
3. Client & Delegate Engagement
- Build professional relationships with prospective delegates.
- Position the event as a valuable platform for knowledge sharing, networking, benchmarking, and business development.
- Handle questions and objections related to the event.
- Follow up consistently with interested prospects until registration is confirmed.
- Maintain relationships with past delegates for future events.
4. Event & Industry Research
- Develop a strong understanding of the supply chain and logistics ecosystem.
- Research industry trends, companies, senior professionals, and emerging areas of interest.
- Monitor industry forums, conferences, roundtables, associations, and professional networks to identify relevant prospects.
- Research competitor events and understand their delegate profiles and participation trends.
5. Target Achievement
- Meet weekly, monthly, and event-wise delegate acquisition targets.
- Track calls, emails, meetings, qualified leads, registrations, and conversions.
- Identify challenges in the acquisition funnel and develop strategies to improve conversion.

Preferred Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate should:
- Have experience in delegate acquisition, B2B tele-sales, lead generation, inside sales, event sales, or business development.
- Be comfortable speaking with senior professionals and CXO-level executives.
- Have strong research and prospecting skills.
- Be persistent and disciplined with follow-ups.
- Have a strong interest in the Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement, and Manufacturing ecosystem.
- Be highly target-oriented and motivated by achieving measurable results.
- Be proactive, energetic, and confident in initiating conversations with new prospects.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field. MBA/PGDM would be an advantage.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
