Job Summary
The HVAC Engineer is responsible for the design, planning, execution, testing, and commissioning of HVAC systems in MEP projects. The role involves coordination with clients, consultants, contractors, and other MEP disciplines to ensure smooth project execution as per project specifications, quality standards, and timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Review HVAC systems including ducting, piping, ventilation, and air conditioning layouts.
Perform heat load calculations and equipment selection.
Prepare shop drawings, BOQ, material submittals, and technical documentation.
Supervise HVAC installation, testing, and commissioning activities at site.
Coordinate with electrical, plumbing, fire-fighting, and civil teams for smooth execution.
Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, project specifications, and safety standards.
Monitor project progress and maintain quality control during execution.
Attend client and consultant meetings for technical discussions and project updates.
Verify contractor bills and quantity measurements.
Ensure compliance with ASHRAE, NBC, and other applicable standards.
Required Skills
Knowledge of HVAC design and execution.
Familiarity with chilled water systems, VRF, AHU, FCU, and ventilation systems.
Strong understanding of duct sizing, piping, and airflow calculations.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, HAP, or similar HVAC software.
Good coordination and communication skills.
Ability to manage site activities and project timelines.
Qualification
B.E / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
3–8 years of experience in HVAC / MEP projects preferred.

Pay: ₹40,610.04 - ₹75,509.89 per month
