About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in the Microsoft technology stack, Azure Cloud services, and data integration/reporting tools such as SSIS and SSRS. Experience in the Retail or E-Commerce domain is highly preferred.
You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines, ETL processes, and reporting solutions that support business intelligence and analytics initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using SSIS and Azure-based services
- Build scalable and reliable data solutions on Microsoft Azure Cloud
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects
- Create and maintain SSRS reports and dashboards
- Integrate data from multiple sources including APIs, databases, and third-party systems
- Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows and performance issues
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand data requirements
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security standards are maintained
- Support data warehousing and reporting initiatives
- Participate in code reviews, documentation, and best practices implementation
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or related role
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Microsoft SQL Server
- SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services)
- SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services)
- Azure Cloud Services
- Strong understanding of the Microsoft technology stack
- Experience designing and maintaining ETL pipelines
- Excellent SQL development and database optimization skills
- Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, or related Azure data services
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Retail or E-Commerce industry
- Familiarity with Power BI
- Experience with data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling
- Exposure to Azure Synapse, Data Lake, or Databricks
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies

Pay: ₹509,356.57 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
