A Continental Commis is a junior chef who assists the Chef de Partie with daily food preparation, ingredient organization, and plating. Responsibilities include executing classical European and Continental recipes, maintaining station hygiene, and following food safety regulations.
- Food Preparation: Assist senior chefs in prepping, washing, chopping, and measuring ingredients.
- Mise en Place: Set up and organize your assigned workstation before and during service.
- Recipe Execution: Prepare and cook Continental dishes (soups, sauces, grills, pasta, and salads) to hotel or restaurant standards.
- Inventory & Cost Control: Monitor stock levels, handle ingredients efficiently to minimize waste, and control food costs.
- Hygiene & Sanitation: Maintain a clean workspace and strictly adhere to HACCP and food safety guidelines
Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
