The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth, expanding market presence, and managing distributor and retail relationships within the assigned territory for the category.
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned territory.
Increase product penetration across toy retailers, distributors, modern trade, and gadget outlets.
Develop and execute territory sales plans.
Appoint, manage, and develop distributors within the territory.
Monitor distributor performance, inventory levels, and order cycles.
Ensure timely payments and maintain healthy credit control.
Expand the retail network to include toy shops, gift stores, and gadget stores.
Ensure product visibility, display standards, and merchandising.Identify opportunities for visibility, such as shop boards and branding.
Conduct retailer engagement and relationship building and ensure retailers and customers receive the correct product knowledge.
Track competitor activities, pricing, and new product launches.
Provide feedback on market trends and customer preferences in the toy category.
Monitor stock availability and coordinate with supply chain teams.
Ensure proper execution of schemes, promotions, and seasonal campaigns (festive, back-to-school, etc.).
Connect with Key Chess Influencers in the city and take part in appropriate chess events.
Maintain sales reports and territory performance analysis.
Work closely with distributors’ sales teams and promoters.
Train retail partners and sales staff on product knowledge.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
MBA (preferred but not mandatory).
3–7 years of sales experience in toys, FMCG, consumer goods, stationery, or kids products.
