Sales Manager
Salary: INR 6 Lacs, Negotiable
Requirement:
- Bachelor of Technology / Master in Technology (EE, Instrumentation, Mechanical)/ M.Sc (Physics or related subject)
- Location: India
- Travel: 25%
- Require a business development profile for sales of advanced equipment’s and materials.
- Industry background of Solar, Li-Battery, CNC machine, Petrochemical, Liquid/water/chemical recycling, any of these required
- Experience: 5-10 years. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in sales and business development.
- Should enjoy working in high technology manufacturing sector and a deep desire to be gain knowledge on new technologies and manufacturing processes.
- Comfortable travelling across India.
- Should be able to communicate effectively with Commercial heads, Technical Directors, Plant heads, Procurement teams, New Product Development teams, and other Managers in top manufacturing firms like Adani, Reliance, Tata Steel and so on.
- Comfortable and confident using technology as an integral part of the sales process.
- Excellent communication skill and strong professional appearance.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with key partners and customers.
- Experience in negotiating and finalizing deals with partners and strategic customers.
- Proven track record of successful partner sales management and institutional sales.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other teams within the organization.
- Strong strategic thinking and negotiation skills.
- Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
Responsibilities:
- Sales and Business Development of high technology equipment and raw materials required to manufacture solar cells, semiconductor chips, optical fiber and so on.
- The equipment and raw materials are manufactured by International companies and need support with sales in Indian market.
- Market research, identifying the growing market and new technology.
- Learn about new technologies, equipment, materials and their applications.
- Understanding the customer requirement.
- Establishing the technical needs of the customer and suggesting appropriate products.
- Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
- Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities
- Managing range of principals & customers.
- Be aware of govt policy knowledge, keep eye on government and industry announcements.
- Stay up to date with the market development and changes in markets.
- Searching and developing new business partners and foreign principals.
- Identifying, evaluating, and conducting follow-up on sales leads to closing the deal.
- Coordination with commercial and logistic team to ensure smooth transition of orders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation and delivery of product. Ensuring successful implementation of project.
- Monitor the order processing and report on sales performance, providing regular updates to senior management and other stakeholders, and overcome obstacles to achieve results.
- Establishing the sales metrics and goals for various players in the organization including the head of marketing, business development officers, and sales engineers and service-support team.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including principals, customers, marketing and procurement team.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service and support, addressing customer concerns in a timely and effective manner, and leveraging customer feedback to drive continuous improvement.
- Representing the organization in various functions like conferences, showcases, and seminars to create awareness about organization products and generate potential leads.
