Gamma Marine is seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer for a New Vessel Construction Project. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems for new vessel construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Design AC and DC electrical systems for marine applications.
- Develop power electronics, propulsion motor control circuits, data bus systems, high-capacity charging systems, and shore utility connections.
- Carry out electrical equipment installation, testing, and commissioning during vessel construction.
- Prepare and maintain electrical drawings, technical documentation, and project records.
- Provide installation support and ensure compliance with applicable marine standards.
- Familiarity with marine navigational equipment and its integration will be an added advantage.
Desired Background
- Experience in one or more of the following:
o Power system electrical design
o Control system electrical design
o Electrical circuit design
o Utility interconnection design
o Marine electrical system design
o Electrical installation and commissioning
o Technical documentation and document control
- Experience in the maritime, utility, or renewable energy (battery and solar-powered) sectors will be an advantage but is not essential.
- Retired POELP/CHELP personnel from the Indian Navy with relevant experience will be given preference.
Timing
Monday to Friday – 9 am to 6 pm
Saturday – 9 am to 5 pm
