Job Summary
The HR Recruiter is responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process for teaching and non-teaching positions. The role involves sourcing candidates, coordinating interviews, conducting reference checks, issuing offer letters, and ensuring a positive candidate experience while meeting the school's staffing requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for teaching, administrative, and support staff.
- Understand hiring requirements and prepare job descriptions.
- Post vacancies on job portals, social media, and recruitment platforms.
- Source candidates through databases, referrals, recruitment agencies, and networking.
- Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews.
- Coordinate interviews with department heads and school leadership.
- Conduct reference and background verification.
- Prepare salary proposals and offer letters.
- Coordinate pre-joining formalities and onboarding.
- Maintain recruitment trackers and candidate databases.
- Ensure timely closure of vacancies within agreed timelines.
- Build relationships with recruitment consultants and educational institutions.
- Participate in recruitment drives, job fairs, and campus hiring.
- Prepare recruitment reports and hiring metrics.
- Ensure compliance with school policies and statutory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- MBA/PGDM in HR is preferred.
Experience
- 2–5 years of recruitment experience, preferably in the education sector.
- Experience hiring teachers and school support staff is an advantage.
Skills
- Strong sourcing and interviewing skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of recruitment platforms such as Jobvite, Naukri, LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.
- Familiarity with HRMS/ATS systems (e.g., Workday).

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
