Job Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and customer-centric Store Manager to lead the Suta retail experience at the store level. This role goes beyond operations and sales management and includes ownership of store business performance, local brand awareness, community engagement, and styling-led customer experience delivery.
The Store Manager will be responsible for driving sales productivity, conversion, customer relationships, local collaborations, and team capability building, while ensuring strong alignment with Suta’s brand ethos and visual storytelling standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business & Sales Ownership
Own complete store business performance through:
- Achievement of monthly and annual revenue targets
- Driving conversion %, ATV (Average Transaction Value), ABS (Average Bill Size), and Conversion
- Improving per square foot productivity
- Increasing repeat customer contribution
- Ensuring strong sell-through across key categories
- Supporting effective assortment movement through styling-led selling
Drive structured daily tracking of:
- Footfall vs conversion
- Billing trends
- Category performance
- Store productivity metrics
2. Customer Experience & Styling-led Selling
Deliver a distinctive Suta in-store experience through:
- Brand and Collection/ fabric Story Telling
- Personalised styling experience and Occasion-based styling conversations
- Wardrobe-building recommendations
- Handling escalations with empathy and ownership
Ensure every customer interaction reflects Suta’s warmth, authenticity, and aesthetic sensibility.
3. Hyperlocal Marketing & Community Engagement
Drive local awareness and footfall generation through:
- Building partnerships with nearby complementary relatable outlets
- Creating collaborations with stylists, artists, creators, and resident communities
- Hosting in-store styling sessions, drape workshops, and customer engagement events
- Planning festival-based store activations
- Driving society-level outreach and community previews
- Supporting local influencer engagement in coordination with marketing teams
Own execution of a monthly store-level awareness calendar
4. Team Leadership & Capability Building
Lead and inspire the store team to deliver strong performance and experience excellence through:
- Daily sales alignment and motivation
- Structured training on styling and assisted selling
- Coaching on conversion improvement
- Building ownership of category selling
- Creating accountability around store KPIs
- Maintaining high engagement and retention within the team
5. Visual Merchandising & Brand Experience
Ensure strong brand storytelling through:
- Maintaining VM standards as per brand guidelines
- Executing seasonal VM refreshes
- Supporting new collection launches
- Ensuring window storytelling consistency
- Driving store readiness during campaigns and launches
Ensure the store reflects Suta’s warmth, craft sensibility, and premium positioning at all times.
6. Inventory & Store Operations Management
Ensure operational excellence across:
- Inventory accuracy
- Stock replenishment planning
- Size availability management
- Shrinkage control
- Billing accuracy
- Cash handling discipline
- Daily reporting hygiene
Maintain strong coordination with central teams on stock movement and requirements.
7. Store Environment & Compliance
Ensure the store consistently maintains:
- Cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Trial room readiness
- Customer comfort environment
- Safety compliance
- Asset upkeep

Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate (Retail / Fashion preferred)
- 5-8 years of experience in fashion/apparel retail
- Minimum 2 years in Store Manager / ASM role preferred
- Experience in premium retail/ apparel environments is an advantage
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
