An SPM (Special Purpose Machine) Design Engineer designs customized machines and automation systems for specific manufacturing requirements.
Key responsibilities: Design SPMs, fixtures, jigs, and automation systems. Prepare 3D models, 2D drawings, and manufacturing drawings using CAD software. Select mechanical components such as bearings, motors, cylinders, guides, and sensors. Work with production and automation teams to develop practical solutions. Troubleshoot and improve machine designs for precision, efficiency, and reliability. Coordinate with vendors and support machine assembly, testing, and commissioning. Ideal candidate: Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineer with 2–3 years of experience in machine design, SPM, automation, or industrial equipment design.
Pay: ₹240,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
