Job Summary
Exotica IT Solutions is looking for a skilled Network Administrator / System Administrator to manage and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in network administration, system management, troubleshooting, and IT operations while ensuring the security and smooth functioning of the company's IT environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain servers, LAN/WAN networks, firewalls, routers, switches, and Wi-Fi infrastructure.
- Install, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot Windows/Linux operating systems, hardware, and software.
- Monitor network performance, system health, and ensure maximum uptime.
- Manage user accounts, Active Directory, access permissions, email configurations, and security policies.
- Perform regular data backups, disaster recovery planning, and system restoration.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, printer, and connectivity issues.
- Maintain IT assets, software licenses, inventory records, and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware procurement, repairs, AMC renewals, and support.
- Ensure endpoint security, antivirus management, patch updates, and compliance with IT security policies.
- Handle day-to-day IT administration, including system setup, employee onboarding/offboarding, and infrastructure support.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies.
- Hands-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and network security.
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V is preferred.
- Experience with backup solutions and disaster recovery processes.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of relevant experience as a Network Administrator, System Administrator, or IT Administrator.
