JOB OVERVIEW
- Designation: Senior Associate/ Delivery Lead
- Years of Experience: 4 to 8 yrs
- Reporting Line: Assistant Director, Private Markets
- Location: Gurgaon/ Bengaluru/ Pune (Hybrid)
JOB PURPOSE
The individual will play a key role in supporting its Private Equity fund client. The professional will be closely working as an extended team member for the client and will assist them in accounting, investment due diligence, portfolio monitoring and investor reporting services.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- NAV and Financials of the PE/RE/PC and Hybrid Funds that including knowledge of Journal Entries, preparing monthly/Quarterly/Annual Financials, processing payments, preparing investor notices including all Fund accounting and reporting tasks knowledge
- Capital Call and distribution workings along with notices and releases to respective investors
- Creating / updating fund track record and reconciling the data using cash flow notices
- Managing the client relationships for the Funds and individually handling the deliverable requirements on a daily/weekly/monthly/Quarterly basis
- Onboard new Funds in the accounting platforms (Investran, Geneva, eFront, etc.)

KEY COMPETENCIES
1. Private Equity / Fund Domain Knowledge
- Understanding of LP/GP structures, fund hierarchies, capital allocations
- Familiarity with deal lifecycle, transaction management & fund accounting concepts
- Knowledge of investor onboarding, wiring instructions, and LP data governance
Understanding of fund family configurations and legal entity structures

2. ERP / Enterprise Application Experience
- Hands-on experience with Workday Financials (configuration, integrations, business events)
- Familiarity with EAS (Enterprise Accounting System) or similar fund accounting platforms
- Comfort working across multiple ERPs simultaneously and resolving cross-system inconsistencies
Experience with reference data management (Spend/Revenue Categories, cost centers, etc.)

3. Systems Integration & Monitoring
- Experience monitoring inbound/outbound data feeds between enterprise systems
- Ability to troubleshoot integration failures, identify root causes, and escalate appropriately
- Familiarity with MT940 bank statement formats and reconciliation processes
Comfort handling bulk file processing, job failure investigation, and ad-hoc integration runs

4. Data Management & Quality Assurance
- Ability to identify & resolve data discrepancies across systems (EAS, WD, EMA)
- Experience maintaining entity/company hierarchies and configuration structures
- Skilled in root cause analysis for data inconsistencies and reallocation issues
Strong data validation mindset — investor/issuer selection accuracy, balance reconciliation

5. Issue Resolution & Functional Support
- Proven ability to discover, document, and coordinate bug fixes
- Experience resolving Business Event failures and configuration issues in ERP environments
- Comfortable acting as L2/L3 functional support between business users and technical teams
- Ability to investigate and explain balance discrepancy calculations to stakeholders
