Roles and Responsibilities of a B2C Sales Representative in a Domestic Travel Company
1. Handling Customer Inquiries
- Attend calls, WhatsApp messages, emails, website leads, and walk-in customers.
- Understand customer requirements such as destination, budget, travel dates, hotel preference, and group size.
- Provide quick and accurate responses to customer queries.
2. Selling Domestic Travel Packages
- Promote holiday packages, honeymoon tours, family vacations, adventure trips, weekend getaways, and pilgrimage tours.
- Recommend suitable destinations and packages according to customer interests and budget.
- Explain package inclusions such as hotels, transport, meals, sightseeing, and activities.
3. Creating Customized Itineraries
- Prepare personalized travel plans based on customer preferences.
- Suggest alternative destinations or packages when required.
- Share quotations and detailed itineraries with customers.
4. Converting Leads into Bookings
- Follow up regularly with potential customers.
- Convince customers by highlighting package benefits, discounts, and unique experiences.
- Achieve monthly sales and revenue targets.
5. Booking Coordination
- Coordinate hotel reservations, transportation, flights/train tickets, and sightseeing arrangements.
- Ensure all bookings are confirmed before customer travel dates.
- Share vouchers, tickets, invoices, and travel schedules with customers.
6. Customer Relationship Management
- Maintain good relationships with existing customers for repeat bookings.
- Collect feedback after trips and resolve complaints professionally.
- Encourage referrals and positive reviews.
7. Upselling and Cross-Selling
- Promote add-on services like travel insurance, airport transfers, activities, upgraded hotels, or meal plans.
- Inform customers about seasonal offers and premium packages.
8. Maintaining Sales Records
- Update customer details and booking status in CRM systems.
- Maintain follow-up records and payment details.
- Prepare daily or weekly sales reports for management.
