Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Machine Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production machinery in an automotive manufacturing environment. The candidate should have hands-on experience in preventive and breakdown maintenance to ensure smooth production operations and minimize machine downtime.
Key Responsibilities
Machine Maintenance
- Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of production machines.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic electrical issues.
- Ensure machines are operating efficiently with minimum downtime.
- Conduct routine inspections and identify potential equipment failures.
Troubleshooting & Repairs
- Attend machine breakdowns and restore operations quickly.
- Replace defective machine components and spare parts.
- Monitor machine performance and recommend improvements.
Preventive Maintenance
- Execute preventive maintenance schedules as per maintenance plans.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities and machine history.
- Ensure proper lubrication and upkeep of machinery.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
- Ensure tools, equipment, and work areas are maintained safely.
- Support audits and compliance activities related to maintenance.
Documentation
- Maintain maintenance logs, checklists, and breakdown reports.
- Track spare parts consumption and report requirements.
