About the Role
We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented AutoCAD Designer to join our growing solar energy team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and modelling electrical components and structures for solar power systems using AutoCAD. If you are passionate about renewable energy and have strong 3D design skills, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
· Prepare detailed 2D and 3D solar plant layouts for rooftop and ground-mounted systems.
· Perform cable sizing, voltage drop calculations, and electrical design analysis.
· Conduct shadow analysis and prepare generation reports to evaluate system performance.
· Prepare detailed BOQ/BOM (Bill of Quantities/Bill of Materials) for project execution and procurement.
· Prepare comprehensive 3D project proposals including detailed shadow analysis and generation reports.
· Optimize system designs for cost-efficiency, durability, and seamless integration into solar projects.
· Provide technical support to project teams through design modifications, documentation, and engineering assistance as required.
Experience & Skills Required
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for 3D design and drafting.
- Strong knowledge of solar mounting systems and structural engineering principles.
- Ability to prepare accurate technical drawings, assemblies, and bill of materials (BOM).
- Fast learner with the ability to quickly adapt to new software and technologies.
