Key Responsibilities:
- Stock Management:
- Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to avoid overstocking or stockouts.
- Perform regular stock counts and reconciliation.
- Order Management:
- Place orders for products as required based on sales forecasts, demand, and stock levels.
- Ensure timely delivery of inventory and manage vendor relationships.
- Inventory Tracking:
- Track and manage all incoming and outgoing stock.
- Use inventory management software to record and monitor stock levels.
- Quality Control:
- Ensure the quality of inventory upon receipt and periodically check stored goods.
- Identify damaged, expired, or unsellable stock and handle it accordingly.
- Data Management:
- Maintain accurate records of stock transactions, sales, and shipments.
- Prepare and submit inventory reports to management for decision-making.
- Coordination:
- Work closely with the purchasing, sales, and warehouse teams to align on inventory needs.
- Coordinate with suppliers for inventory replenishment and returns.
- Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements regarding stock management.
- Analysis and Optimization:
- Analyze inventory trends and provide recommendations to optimize stock levels.
- Monitor inventory turnover and reduce waste.
