Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
Develop and implement the overall vision, strategy, and growth plan for the Interior
Design Division.
Establish design standards, processes, and quality benchmarks across all projects.
Drive innovation in residential interior solutions, modular designs, and space
optimization.
Support the company's objective of delivering premium customer experiences.
Design Management
Lead the conceptualization, planning, and execution of interior design projects.
Review and approve layouts, mood boards, material selections, furniture specifications,
and detailed drawings.
Ensure designs are aesthetically appealing, functional, cost-effective, and aligned with
client requirements.
Introduce contemporary and sustainable design trends suitable for Kerala homes.
Project Execution
Oversee end-to-end execution of interior projects from design approval to handover.
Coordinate with architects, project managers, procurement teams, contractors, and
vendors.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and as per quality standards.
Monitor site progress and resolve design or execution challenges.
Customer Experience
Engage with clients during design consultations and key project milestones.
Understand customer preferences and translate them into practical design solutions.
Ensure high customer satisfaction and effective handling of escalations.
Develop premium interior packages for apartment and villa customers.
Team Leadership
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of interior designers, 3D visualizers, site supervisors,
and project coordinators.
Establish performance goals and conduct periodic reviews.
Foster a culture of creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Business Development & Revenue Growth
Develop interior design packages and upselling opportunities for home buyers.
Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to promote interior design services.
Drive revenue, profitability, and market expansion of the interior division.
Build strategic relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and industry partners.
Vendor & Procurement Management
Identify and onboard reliable vendors and contractors.
Negotiate pricing and service agreements.
Ensure quality control of materials, finishes, furniture, and fixtures.
Compliance & Quality Assurance
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company standards, and project
specifications.
Implement quality audits and project review mechanisms.
Maintain proper documentation and project records.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
Master's Degree in Design Management, Architecture, or Business Administration is
preferred.
Experience
10–15+ years of experience in interior design and project execution.
Experience in residential real estate, apartments, villas, and premium housing projects
preferred.
Strong portfolio demonstrating successful large-scale residential interiors.
