About the Role
We are looking for a highly competent and experienced Accountant who can independently manage the complete accounting, taxation, statutory compliance, and financial reporting functions of a Private Limited Company.
This role is not suitable for candidates whose experience is limited to data entry, voucher posting, or basic bookkeeping. We require a professional who understands the complete financial ecosystem of a company and can take ownership of accounts from transaction recording to finalization and compliance.
Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Bookkeeping
- Maintain complete books of accounts.
- Ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions.
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ledger scrutiny.
- Monitor cash flow and working capital.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Coordinate with management on budgeting and financial planning.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
GST Compliance
- Preparation and filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, and other GST returns.
- GST reconciliation and Input Tax Credit (ITC) management.
- Handling GST notices, assessments, and departmental queries.
- Ensuring GST compliance across all business transactions.
- Vendor and customer GST reconciliation.
- E-way bill and e-invoicing compliance wherever applicable.
Income Tax & TDS
- Calculation and deduction of TDS under various sections.
- Filing of TDS returns (24Q, 26Q, etc.).
- Generation and issuance of TDS certificates.
- Preparation of tax workings and support during audits.
- Knowledge of advance tax, tax planning, and income tax compliance.
- Handling notices and correspondence from the Income Tax Department.
- Reconciliation of Form 26AS and AIS.
ROC & Corporate Compliance
- Coordination for ROC filings and annual compliances.
- Understanding of Companies Act requirements applicable to Private Limited Companies.
- Maintenance of statutory records and documentation.
- Coordination with Company Secretary and Chartered Accountant.
- Ensuring timely filing of statutory forms and returns.
Financial Reporting & Audit
- Preparation of Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account, and Cash Flow Statements.
- Monthly MIS reporting.
- Support during statutory audits, internal audits, and tax audits.
- Preparation of schedules and audit documentation.
- Financial analysis and variance reporting.
- Assisting management in financial decision-making through timely reports.
Banking & Financial Coordination
- Handling banking transactions and reconciliations.
- Coordination with banks for loans, limits, guarantees, and documentation.
- Managing working capital-related documentation.
- Monitoring fund flow and payment schedules.

- Additional certifications in Taxation, Finance, or Accounting will be an advantage.
Candidate Profile
We are specifically looking for someone who:
- Can independently handle the complete accounting and compliance requirements of a Private Limited Company.
- Has strong practical knowledge of GST, Income Tax, TDS, ROC compliance, audits, and financial reporting.Can coordinate directly with Chartered Accountants, Auditors, Banks, Government Departments, and Management.Understands financial controls, compliance risks, and business accounting processes.Can work with minimal supervision and take ownership of the finance function.Candidates whose experience is limited to data entry, voucher posting, billing, or basic bookkeeping need not apply.
