About the Role
Recruza Alliance is looking for a qualified and responsible Hospital Pharmacist (Surgical & Medical) to join a reputed healthcare organization in Bareilly for the Night Shift. The ideal candidate should have 1–2 years of hospital pharmacy experience and good knowledge of surgical and medical medicines, inventory management, and prescription handling.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense medicines accurately as per prescriptions and hospital protocols.
- Handle surgical and medical medicines, including emergency and critical-care medications.
- Verify prescriptions for dosage, drug interactions, and potential medication errors.
- Maintain proper records of medicine dispensing and stock movement.
- Monitor and manage pharmacy inventory, including expiry and near-expiry medicines.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare staff regarding medication requirements.
- Ensure timely availability of medicines during the night shift.
- Follow proper storage conditions and maintain the required temperature for medicines.
- Handle controlled/high-alert medicines as per hospital policies and applicable regulations.
- Maintain accurate documentation, billing, and stock registers.
- Ensure compliance with hospital pharmacy procedures, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Support smooth handover of pharmacy operations to the next shift.
Candidate Requirements
- B.Pharm / D.Pharm from a recognized institution.
- 1–2 years of relevant hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
- Experience handling surgical and medical pharmacy operations.
- Great knowledge of medicines, dosage forms, and prescription interpretation.
- Familiarity with pharmacy inventory and stock-management procedures.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently during the night shift.
- Responsible, attentive, and detail-oriented approach.
