Purpose of the Role
1. Responsible for In process, Dimensional and Final inspection.
2. Responsible for on time stage, final inspection and FAI
3. Responsible for preparation of Quality documentation and reports.
4. Responsible for Product and Process audit
5. Responsible for Quality Management System and Customer Quality requirements adherence and handling Non conformance
Responsibilities & Accountabilities

Responsible for In process, Dimensional, Final inspection to achieve quality targets

Execute QC activities that translates to reduction of COPQ (Cost of Poor Quality) and scrap
-
Ensure the highest quality output that meets customers expectation in the most cost effective manner, through In process Inspection quality control activities along with action planning for identified gaps

Prepare Quality plan complying with drawing, process documents , customer requirements for assigned projects.

Update the Quality documentations for the feedback /comments and support for approval.

Prepare First Time Right of Quality documents and reports
- Carry out critical inspection of parts at various stages and ensure job closure of technicians at each stage.

Ensure each stages of operations are closed in Route card/ oracle in timely manner

Conduct product audit and process audit as per audit schedule

Work allocation to Technician , monitoring and maintain shift-wise log book communication

Identify the Quality requirements for the In-process area and initiate for procurement

Raise a alert for the Non conformance/deviation in the process and attend to resolve the issue. Verify Implementation of Corrective Action and Preventive Action

Control of Non Conformance and work towards to reduce rejection
- Maintain all the documentation and reports as per LBE (TQM), AS9100, Nadcap & customer requirements

Resolve the day-to-day process deviations and escalation of the same in times of prolonged non-closure.

Coordinate with Internal and external stake holders for completion of day to day activities
- Provide on job training and assistance for new joiners in the team.
- React productively and handle other essential duties or tasks as assigned.

Perform the daily activities as per production plan and as directed by superior and update Quality KPI's

Participate in New product Development and identify the Quality requirements

Participate in FAI prove out for the allocated projects, Inspect Full FAI, Partial FAI parts and verification of Documents & reports

Prepare FAI documents using Form 1, 2 and 3 as per AS9102

Analyse quality data and identifying trends and areas for improvement for action planning to close the gaps

Identify and Address the areas of processing to solve through automation by coordinating with IT
-
Ensure updation and use of advanced quality control tools and techniques .

Drive continuous learning and skilling of operators on soft and hard skills essential for the section

Track performance measures of the operators and individuals to consistently provide feedback and improve performance
-
Train operator / technician to improve their skill set and ensure defect free products
