We are looking for energetic, ambitious, and target-driven Business Development Executives to join our Chennai team and contribute to our mission of transforming education through quality student counselling and admissions.
Job Summary
As a Business Development Executive (BDE), you will be responsible for generating admissions by counselling prospective students, understanding their educational and career goals, and recommending suitable online programs. You will manage the complete sales cycle—from lead engagement to successful enrollment—while ensuring an outstanding student experience.
Key ResponsibilitiesStudent Counselling & Business Development
- Contact prospective students through inbound and outbound calls.
- Understand student requirements and career aspirations.
- Recommend suitable online degree and certification programs.
- Explain course features, university offerings, eligibility, fees, scholarships, and admission procedures.
Lead Management
- Follow up with enquiries generated through digital marketing campaigns, websites, referrals, and partner channels.
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
- Ensure timely follow-ups through calls, WhatsApp, emails, and SMS.
Sales & Admissions
- Convert enquiries into successful admissions.
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
- Guide students through documentation, application submission, and fee payment.
- Maintain high conversion rates while delivering excellent customer service.
CRM & Reporting
- Update all lead interactions in the CRM system.
- Maintain accurate records of calls, follow-ups, and admissions.
- Prepare daily activity reports and sales updates.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong sales, negotiation, and persuasion abilities.
- Ability to build trust and maintain long-term relationships.
- Goal-oriented with a passion for achieving targets.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with CRM software.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of Tamil and/or Hindi is an added advantage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
- Freshers with excellent communication skills are welcome.
- Experience in EdTech, Inside Sales, Telecalling, Banking, Insurance, Real Estate, or BPO Sales is preferred.
