Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & Execution
- Lead complete lifecycle of residential construction projects from mobilization to handover.
- Prepare project schedules, milestones, and resource plans.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and as per specifications.
Site & Team Management
- Supervise Site Engineers, Supervisors, and Contractors.
- Conduct daily/weekly progress reviews and site inspections.
- Resolve technical and execution challenges proactively.
- Ensure manpower productivity and optimal resource utilization.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to approved drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
- Implement quality control procedures and conduct audits.
- Ensure compliance with local building regulations and approvals.
- Maintain documentation for inspections, approvals, and handover.
Budget & Cost Control
- Monitor project budgets and control construction costs.
- Track material consumption and minimize wastage.
- Review contractor bills and certify work completion.
- Coordinate with procurement for timely material supply.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Liaise with clients for progress updates and site walkthroughs.
- Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, and MEP teams.
- Ensure smooth communication between design and execution teams.
Safety Management
- Enforce safety standards and site safety protocols.
- Conduct regular safety meetings and toolbox talks.
- Ensure compliance with statutory safety requirements.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Project completion within planned timeline and budget
- Quality standards and minimal rework
- Client satisfaction and successful handover
- Safety compliance and zero major incidents
- Efficient team and contractor management
Required Qualifications
- BE / B.Tech in Civil Engineering
- Project Management certification is an advantage.
Experience Required
- 10 – 15 years in civil construction
- Minimum 5+ years in residential projects (apartments / villas / gated communities)
- Proven experience in handling multiple sites simultaneously
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials
- Project planning tools (MS Project / Primavera preferred)
- BOQ preparation and cost control
- Knowledge of local building regulations and approvals
- Ability to read and review drawings (Architectural, Structural, MEP)
