- Track expenses for solar panels, inverters, wiring, and mounting structures.
- Prepare project-wise financial feasibility and profitability reports.
- Monitor material and labor costs against allocated budgets. [1]
- Manage accounts payable to local and national equipment vendors.
- Follow up on accounts receivable from commercial clients or residential buyers.
- Oversee daily cash flows required for active installation sites. [1, 2]
- Handle financial paperwork for national and state-level solar schemes (such as PM Surya Ghar or PEDA guidelines in Punjab).
- Ensure proper Goods and Services Tax (GST) filing on solar equipment and installation services.
- Assist with internal and statutory audits.
- Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Provide management with budget-versus-actual variance analysis
- Key Skills Needed
- Proficiency in accounting software (ERP, SAP, or QuickBooks) and advanced MS Excel.
- Knowledge of renewable energy financing or Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) project accounting.
- Strong negotiation skills for dealing with banks, lenders, and hardware suppliers
