Job Summary
The Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of hospital staff, doctors, patients, medical supplies, documents, and equipment. The driver must ensure that the assigned vehicle is well-maintained, clean, and operated in accordance with traffic regulations and hospital policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport doctors, staff, patients, and visitors as assigned.
- Deliver medical supplies, laboratory samples, medicines, and official documents when required.
- Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off according to the assigned schedule.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections, including brakes, tyres, lights, engine oil, coolant, fuel, and battery.
- Keep the vehicle clean, hygienic, and in good working condition.
- Maintain vehicle logbooks, mileage records, fuel consumption, and service records.
- Report accidents, breakdowns, or mechanical issues immediately.
- Ensure that vehicle insurance, registration, pollution certificate, and other documents are valid.
- Follow all traffic rules, safety regulations, and hospital policies.
- Assist with loading and unloading luggage, equipment, or supplies when required.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding patients and hospital information.
- Be available for emergency transportation duties when required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10th or 12th Pass.
- Valid LMV/Commercial Driving License (as applicable).
- Minimum 2–3 years of professional driving experience.
- Hospital or ambulance driving experience is preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent driving and road safety knowledge.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of local routes and GPS navigation.
- Punctual, honest, and responsible.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and emergencies.
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.
Working Conditions
- Rotational shifts as per hospital requirements.
- May be required to work on weekends, holidays, and during emergencies.

- Accurate maintenance of trip logs and records.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
