Senior Software Engineer Python
Role summary
Upgrade and integrate thirdparty Python packages resolving packaging compatibility build and automatedtest failures
Key responsibilities
Upgrade Python packages across supported runtime versions
Resolve dependency API import packaging and test failures
Update package metadata and internal build configuration
Reconcile local patches and diagnose CIpresubmit failures
Validate upgrades and maintain technical documentation
Required skills
Strong Python development and debugging
pipPyPI wheels virtual environments and Python packaging
pytest or equivalent testing frameworks
Dependencyresolution and versioncompatibility experience
Git Linux scripting CICD and log analysis
Experience maintaining or integrating opensource packages
Preferred setuptools Poetry nativeCextension builds Bazel Copybara monorepos security remediation
