Job Summary
A premium, high-growth integrated communications agency is seeking a strategic and highly connected PR Manager to lead its specialized practice divisions. The ideal candidate must have 2 to 4 years of dedicated professional public relations or corporate communications experience, with a heavy emphasis on managing client portfolios inside the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, Insurance), Higher Education, or Real Estate sectors. This position is strictly open to local candidates currently residing in Mumbai who possess a maximum notice period of 30 days or less. You will act as the primary strategic consultant for high-profile accounts, direct media engagement plans, and craft corporate narratives that drive earned media value across tier-one national publications.Core Responsibilities
- Serve as the dedicated strategic lead and primary point of contact for complex accounts across the BFSI, Real Estate, or Education sectors.
- Drive high-impact corporate profiling, executive thought leadership, and feature coverage placement in national business publications, broadcast networks, and digital financial platforms.
- Conceptualize, write, and oversee the production of complex communication assets, including executive op-eds, macro-economic commentary pieces, specialized industry reports, white papers, and press disclosures.
- Lead the end-to-end orchestration of major financial media roundtables, real estate project launch press tours, educational seminars, and crisis management communication loops.
- Manage, mentor, and track the daily performance of junior PR executives, ensuring client media deliverables, key performance metrics, and reporting SLA parameters are met flawlessly.
- Analyze daily editorial trends, financial regulatory changes, and competitive market data to proactively counsel clients on narrative positioning and public sentiment risks.
Required Experience and Qualifications
- Total Experience: Non-negotiable 2 to 4 years of solid, full-time public relations experience running accounts within a PR agency or corporate corporate communication setup.
- Domain Expertise: Proven track record of executing strategic PR campaigns specifically for real estate developers, educational institutions, or banking, asset management, and fintech firms.
- Media Network: Active, verified relationships with national business journalists, retail editors, financial columnists, and real estate beat reporters across Mumbai's prime publication houses.
- Location and Availability: Must be a local resident of Mumbai, fully prepared to commute for physical on-site media briefings and client events. A maximum notice period of 30 days or immediate availability is strictly required.
- Communication Depth: Outstanding corporate writing, narrative design, copy-editing, and presentation development capabilities in English.
- Academic Background: Bachelor’s degree or Master's diploma in Corporate Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or an equivalent business humanities field.
