Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records using ERP systems like Ginesys or Genesis, conducting daily/weekly cycle counts and annual audits for silver, gems, and finished jewellery.
- Forecast demand based on sales trends, seasonal events (e.g., Diwali, Dussehra), and market data to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
- Coordinate with procurement, production, and sales teams to manage inbound/outbound shipments, vendor returns, and B2B wholesale orders.
- Implement inventory control measures, including ABC analysis for high-value items, FIFO methods, and anti-theft protocols for precious metals.
- Generate MIS reports on inventory KPIs (e.g., turnover ratio, shrinkage, aging stock) and recommend strategies to reduce costs by 10-15%.
- Train and supervise junior staff on inventory processes, barcode/RFID usage, and compliance with GST/quality standards.
- Collaborate with store managers for retail replenishment and resolve discrepancies in real-time.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Supply Chain, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 5+ years in inventory management, with 2+ years in jewellery/retail (experience with silver/gold inventory a plus).
- Proficiency in inventory software (Ginesys, Tally, SAP), MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP), and basic data analytics.
- Strong knowledge of GST compliance, supply chain logistics, and jewellery-specific regulations.
