We are seeking a Quality Control Engineer – Mechanical responsible for inspection, verification, and quality assurance of precision mechanical parts used in RF & Microwave assemblies such as amplifier housings, waveguides, chassis, enclosures, heat sinks, and antenna structures.
Key Responsibilities 1. Incoming Inspection
· Inspection of machined aluminium / copper / brass / SS components
· Verify dimensions as per drawings using precision instruments
· Surface finish and coating inspection (Anodizing, Alodine, Nickel plating, etc.)
· Raw material certificate verification
2. In-Process Inspection
· Stage inspection during machining and fabrication
· GD&T validation
· Thread inspection (Helicoil, inserts, RF connector interfaces)
· Flatness, parallelism, concentricity verification
3. Final Inspection
· Mechanical enclosure fitment check
· Assembly dimensional validation
· RF mechanical interface inspection (waveguide flanges, SMA/N-type mounting)
· Torque validation
· Documentation release for production
4. Documentation & Compliance
· Preparation of Inspection Reports
· NCR generation & root cause tracking
· Vendor quality audit support
· Maintaining traceability records
· Calibration tracking of instruments
Quality Control – Electrical
Job Responsibilities:-
● Project wise-fabrication planning as per schedule & Internal
Auditing.
● Process identification document preparation as per project
wise.
● Components, PCB IGI as per ISRO standards.
● Ultrasonic cleaning, turret swaging, PTH filling, de-golding,
Components mounting, soldering, Functional test clearance,
Final assembly clearance & polymer activities such as
Conformal coating, ecco bonding, RTV potting, Radiation
Shielding, ASICs, PROMs Assembly & package wiring
Inspection as per ISRO standards.
● RF Communication Packages C-Band projects such as INSAT-3DS,
IRNSS-1J, GSAT-7R, GAGANAYAAN card level and package level processes
Inspection & project supervision as per ISRO standards.
● RF communication packages, S-Band projects such as ANVESHA,
Oceansat-3, XPOSAT card level and package level processes
Inspection and project supervision as per ISRO requirements.
