- Minimum 2 years of experience is required in same field (Canadian Immigration)
- Manage end-to-end processing of immigration files including study permits, visitor visas, work permits, permanent residence applications, and refusals/reapplications.
- Conduct detailed client intake and eligibility assessments based on current policies of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.
- Collect, review, and verify client documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with immigration requirements.
- Draft and prepare application forms, submission packages, Statement of Purpose (SOPs), submission letters, and supporting documentation under supervision of a licensed consultant.
- Coordinate closely with Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultants and ensure all cases comply with standards set by College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants.
- Track application progress, update clients on status, and maintain proper case notes and records using CRM or file management systems.
- Identify potential risks or gaps in applications and escalate complex issues to senior consultants for strategic guidance.
- Handle client communication via email, phone, and in-person meetings, ensuring timely responses and professional service.
- Assist in preparing responses for procedural fairness letters, refusals, and additional document requests.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and data protection standards in line with RCIC professional conduct.
- Stay updated with changes in Canadian immigration laws, policies, and procedures, and apply them in ongoing cases.
- Support internal audits and quality checks to ensure error-free submissions and high approval rates.
- Liaise with external stakeholders such as educational institutions, testing agencies, and documentation providers for case processing.
Additional Expectations (Given 2+ Years Experience):
- Ability to handle multiple cases independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong understanding of application portals (IRCC portal, GCKey, etc.).
- Experience in refusal analysis and re-application strategy.
- Capability to mentor junior case processors or interns when required.
