1. JOB SUMMARY
The Head of Accounts is responsible for the overall supervision, accuracy, and efficiency of the accounting department. This role acts as a strategic bridge between the operational staff and the Board of Directors, ensuring that all financial data is verified, new processes are implemented effectively, and the team adheres to organizational standards and statutory requirements.
2. REPORTING & ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISM
To maintain high levels of financial integrity and process control, the Head of Accounts shall adhere to:
- Departmental Oversight: Weekly review meetings with the team to resolve pending billings or documentation bottlenecks.
- Escalation Management: Immediate reporting of operational lapses or team-related grievances to the Director.
- Process Compliance Report: A monthly report on the success rate and adoption of "New Process Implementations."
- Accuracy Audit: Periodic audits of billing transactions and financial documentation to ensure compliance with tax and accounting standards.
3. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
A. Team Coordination & Supervision
- Billing Supervision: Monitor billing processes and ensure the timely generation of invoices.
- Logistics & Documentation Verification: Ensure LR (Lorry Receipt) data matches dispatch and billing records to prevent logistics errors.
- Proforma Invoice Control: Monitor the issuance and conversion of Proforma Invoices to final sales invoices to ensure seamless sales order processing.
- Consignment & Stock Documentation Audit: Verify inward consignment documentation and stock entries for accuracy and stock integrity.
B. Financial Management
- Ledger & Reconciliation: Oversee ledger accuracy, financial entries and periodic reconciliation processes.
- Statutory Compliance: Supervise GST compliance, tax filings and the maintenance of all statutory documentation.
- Cash Flow Governance: Monitor accounts receivable and payable processes to maintain healthy liquidity.
C. Quality Control & Internal Audit
- Audit & Compliance: Conduct systematic checks on Z-bills and consignment data to ensure 100% accuracy and adherence to tax/billing norms.
- Data Integrity: Ensuring that coordination between various sub-functions (Billing, Logistics, PI) is seamless and error-free.
D. Process Improvement & Change Management
- Strategic Implementation: Designing and implementing new accounting or operational processes as directed by management.
- Training & Development: Working closely with the team to ensure new protocols are followed and identifying areas for retraining to minimize errors.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
