Position: Technician – Electronics & Communication
Role Summary:
Responsible for installation, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of electronic and communication systems onboard vessels, shipyard facilities, and related equipment.
- Install, commission, and maintain electronic and communication equipment.
- Troubleshoot faults in communication, navigation, and monitoring systems.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of electronic devices and control systems.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and manuals.
- Conduct testing, calibration, and functional checks of equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures.
- Maintain service records and prepare maintenance reports.
- Coordinate with engineers and other technical teams during repairs and installations.
Requirements:
- Diploma/ITI in Electronics & Communication Engineering or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in electronics, communication, marine, or industrial systems.
- Knowledge of electronic circuits, communication equipment, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to use testing instruments such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and signal analyzers.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Experience:
- Marine communication systems, radar, GPS, VHF/UHF radios, CCTV, IP cameras, and networking systems.
- Shipbuilding, ship repair, offshore, or industrial maintenance environments.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
