We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will combine technical knowledge with strong sales skills to identify customer requirements, promote products and solutions, generate new business opportunities, and maintain long-term customer relationships. The Sales Engineer will act as a bridge between customers and the technical team, ensuring that customer needs are effectively translated into suitable product solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within assigned territories and industries.
- Visit customers regularly to understand their requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and technical discussions with clients.
- Prepare and submit quotations, proposals, and tender documents.
- Follow up on inquiries, negotiate commercial terms, and close sales orders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business.
- Coordinate with production, engineering, and operations teams to ensure timely order execution.
- Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support to customers.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and forecasts.
Required QualificationsEducation
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Industrial, Chemical Engineering, or related technical field.
Required Skills
- Strong technical and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Sales, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills.
- Ability to understand customer requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
- Knowledge of quotation preparation and sales documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with CRM software is an advantage.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of working independently.
Additional Requirements
- Willingness to travel extensively for customer meetings and site visits.
- Knowledge of Hindi language .
- Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
