JOB DESCRIPTION:
Administer and support AWS infrastructure (EC2, VPC, IAM, ELB, Auto Scaling).
- Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu).
- Perform system monitoring, patching, and performance tuning.
- Handle backups, restores, and disaster recovery procedures.
- Troubleshoot OS, network, and application-level issues.
- Implement security best practices, access controls, and hardening.
- Automate routine tasks using shell scripts or Python.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Linux system administration
- Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3)
- Knowledge of networking concepts (DNS, TCP/IP, firewalls)
- Experience with monitoring tools and log analysis
- Basic scripting (Shell/Python)
Good to Have
- AWS SysOps or Associate certification
- Experience with Ansible, Terraform, or CI/CD pipelines
- Exposure to container platforms (Docker/Kubernetes)
