We are seeking a skilled and proactive MEP Engineer with a Civil Engineering background to manage and coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP), Fire Fighting, and associated building services for residential construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely execution, quality compliance, cost control, and seamless coordination between MEP and civil works throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Review MEP drawings, technical specifications, BOQs, and shop drawings before execution.
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise MEP activities at project sites.
- Ensure MEP installations are executed as per approved drawings, project specifications, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal project teams for smooth project execution.
- Monitor site progress and ensure completion of MEP works within project timelines.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations and statutory requirements.
- Verify material requirements, monitor consumption, and coordinate procurement activities.
- Manage testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems.
- Identify technical issues at site and provide practical solutions to avoid delays.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and maintain project documentation.
- Ensure proper coordination between civil, architectural, and MEP works to avoid clashes and rework.
- Support project managers in project planning, scheduling, and resource management.
Qualifications & Experience
- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- 3–8 years of experience in MEP execution and coordination within residential construction projects.
- Experience in apartments, villas, gated communities, or premium residential developments is preferred.
- Knowledge of Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, HVAC, STP, WTP, and ELV systems.
