Education
- B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology/ BSc Computer Science/ BCA Computer Science.
- MBA in Finance, Banking, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Operations, or equivalent.
We are looking for an Associate Business Analyst who is passionate about Banking, AI, and Product Engineering. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, banking knowledge, and the ability to leverage Generative AI to analyze business problems, create functional documentation, and rapidly develop interactive prototypes.
The role is suited for candidates who enjoy combining business analysis with technology and are eager to use AI to improve product discovery and software delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements under the guidance of senior Business Analysts and Product Owners.
- Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), user stories, use cases, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
- Use Generative AI to accelerate documentation, business analysis, requirement discovery, and software delivery activities.
- Create process flows, sequence diagrams, and system workflows using AI-assisted diagramming tools such as Mermaid.js.
- Build wireframes, interactive prototypes, and proof-of-concepts using AI-assisted prototyping platforms.
- Assist in analyzing APIs, integrations, and business workflows.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Support functional testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Work closely with Product Owners, UX Designers, Developers, QA Engineers, and Architects.
- Continuously evaluate emerging AI tools that improve productivity across the SDLC.
- Use of python for creating reusable tools to ease day to day tasks.
Mandatory Skills
Banking & Business Analysis
- Academic knowledge of Banking and Financial Services.
- Understanding of Digital Banking, Payments, CASA, Lending, KYC, AML, role of banking regulators or related banking concepts.
- Basic knowledge of requirement gathering techniques.
- Understanding of BRDs, FRDs, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of Agile concepts
AI Productivity
Basic experience in using Generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, Gemini, or equivalent for process flow creation, documentation etc. Candidates should be able to demonstrate how they use AI effectively while validating and refining AI-generated outputs.
AI-Assisted Prototyping
Basic hands-on exposure to at least one AI-assisted prototyping platform.
Ability to:
- Convert business requirements into wireframes or simple interactive prototypes.
- Demonstrate end-to-end business workflows through prototypes.
- Iterate designs using AI assistance.
Technical Fundamentals
- Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Knowledge of Agile and Scrum.
- Basic SQL.
- Basic understanding of REST APIs and JSON.
- Understanding of web applications and system integration concepts.
