Job Summary:
The OT Staff Nurse provides perioperative nursing care by preparing the operation theatre, assisting the surgical team, maintaining aseptic techniques, ensuring patient safety, and supporting patients before, during, and after surgery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare the OT and surgical instruments.
- Assist surgeons and anesthetists during procedures.
- Maintain sterile techniques and infection control.
- Monitor patients throughout the perioperative period.
- Perform instrument and sponge counts.
- Maintain accurate documentation and OT records.
- Ensure proper handling and sterilization of equipment.
Qualifications:
- B.Sc. Nursing or GNM.
- Valid Nursing Council registration.
- BLS certification preferred.
Experience:
- 1– 8 years ; OT experience preferred.
