Rational Engineers Ltd., India’s largest copper wire manufacturer and supplier since 1989, is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to join its dynamic team at the upcoming Greenfield Manufacturing Plant in Halol, Gujarat.
This role is ideal for professionals with 7–10 years of experience in a manufacturing setup, strong expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies, and a passion for driving continuous improvement in conductor manufacturing.
Preference will be given to candidates currently working in copper Or cabal manufacturing companies.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee quality checks at all stages: incoming, in‑process, and final inspection
- Implement and maintain QMS aligned with ISO 9001
- Lead internal audits and coordinate external audits with customers/certification bodies
- Drive RCA and CAPA initiatives for defect prevention
- Define and monitor quality KPIs; present monthly performance reports
- Mentor QA/QC team and conduct training on quality tools and standards
- Manage customer complaints, product recalls, and documentation
- Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain for quality improvements
- Maintain MIS dashboards and trackers for internal/client reporting
- Lead quality training programs and skill matrix development with HR/Training teams
- Ensure compliance with ISO, safety, and environmental standards
- Support new product trials, process validations, and technology upgrades
Qualifications
- BE/B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or Production Engineering
- 8–10 years of experience in a similar industry/manufacturing setup preferred
